Welcome to Tribal Truth’s sacred space!

We are a tribe of feminine leaders who want to make a difference in the world.

We have put down our swords and our shields and come together as a community to partner and collaborate with one another because we get that together we can make a bigger impact than when we “do it all alone” as individuals.

If you are someone who feels overwhelmed, burned out or frustrated because you are giving too much time and energy and don’t feel like your life is balanced, then you’ve come to the right place.

Or if you have just been searching for a community of empowered women to be in that higher level of association, then you are going to love this tribe.

It is within the Tribal Truth community that you can learn how to fully be of service and receive. Here you can start to allow more contribution in your life and fully trust the women around you to support you in your life and business.

We like to say that this is where the ancient spiritual women’s circle meets modern day urban chic. Many of us are urban hippies – blending the modern day hip and cool with the spiritual wisdom of the feminine divine.

Yesterday frickin’ rocked. The goddesses of LA showed up and played full out – releasing old blocks, declaring their visions for 2012, dancing, singing and connecting … I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I noticed a shift in myself – a shift into my sexy goddess power where I wanted to be seen.

Let me explain: I usually lead from the back of the room holding space in an invisible type of way. Now you may think that I’m delusional given how much I am on video and how much I am in the front of the room during Tribal Truth events, but there was a slight difference in the way I co-led with Christina Dunbar yesterday.

And I owe it all to this breakthrough I’ve had in owning my sensuality.

I’ve been thinking about freedom lately.

On the surface level, of course it looks like I have freedom. I can vote, I can travel wherever I want, I can have my own business, I can do pretty much anything I want do and more.

But am I really free?

As an entrepreneur, I am creating a business for financial freedom and time freedom. Like I said, I do whatever I want. I create my own schedule working when I want to work.

Then why is it that I feel so stuck? What is this feeling of dread, anxiety, frustration, pressure?

Why is it that I never feel like I have enough money? Even with money in the bank, a roof over my head, food on my table three times a day, and a constant flow of money coming in and out of my life, I am still thinking about how to make money and if I am making enough. What is enough?

Why is it that I feel like I am a slave to my business and never getting ahead?

Why do I feel like I am in the exact same place now as I was a year ago, dealing with some of the same issues, just a different version?

Why do I feel like throwing it all out sometimes when I’ve worked so hard to get here and I have something I’ve created while other people have nothing?

Am I ungrateful? Am I crazy?

No.

I have just been disillusioned in thinking that my freedom has to do with this material thing called money, which in fact is not even a material thing.

This has nothing to do with money.

It has to do with freedom of choice.

The freedom is in letting go of all of it. To let go of my attachment that this is the way it is supposed to be.

We think we should have a certain type of success measurable by dollar amounts. We think we should have a certain type of relationship based on feelings of joy and happiness.

I was trapped in this warped view of life. I was not choosing my life. I wanted it to look a certain way. And when it felt like it was all taken away from me about three months ago, I was confronted with having to feel all of it. The feelings I thought were bad and wrong.

The pain, the frustration, the anger, the sadness, the grief, the loneliness, the suffering.

As I struggle to let go and surrender, to be in the flow, to accept the challenges and the circumstances, I am faced with the ultimate choice: do I choose love or fear?

To fear: that I won’t be able to afford my own place, that I won’t be able to find my life partner, that I won’t be able to fit in with my community, that I won’t be able to create a successful business, that I won’t be able to.

Or to love: to fully accept the way it is without trying to fix and change any of it because it all means nothing anyway. To feel all of these emotions, every single one of them no matter how painful.

Because when I can truly feel, I can then experience love. When I can feel all of it – I can open my heart to new depths.

When I can allow myself to feel pain, I can then accept it and ultimately accept myself.

The freedom to choose love is based on my own self-love. The more deeply I can accept myself for all of me right now – without trying to fix and change it to look like something else – the more I can experience true freedom.

What is enough?

I am enough.

Simply because I am.

We had a powerful Sistership Circle meeting last night in San Diego where we shared a choice that we made this year and gave ourselves some gratitude for making that choice.

It’s a twist on gratitude … the more gratitude you can have for yourself and your courageous actions, the more you can express it for others.

I got back from The Dream Maker Retreat yesterday, which was amazing with the heart to heart connections, the hot springs and having some major breakthroughs.

One of the lessons I got was that “no” does not mean anything. In fact, it is a good thing.

Yesterday, Alara Castell and Sabrina Chaw were co-creating some parts of the Dream Maker Retreat with me.

We saw the opportunity for each facilitator to also be a participant of the retreat.  This is truly a co-creative, “leaders causing leaders” weekend. This is the new paradigm.

Why am I sharing this?

Because I am seeing something in the tribe that needs to be addressed about “Giving” and “Being Of Service.”

I get tons of requests from women who want to share their gift with “my” tribe. In other words, they want to be a speaker at one of our events. Or they want me to promote something of theirs.

First of all, it’s not just my tribe.

It’s your tribe.

Second, this is not what we’re all about.

The way I look at giving is that it is a full circle. Giving = Receiving. It’s a flow of energy.

Some may argue that the circle is complete when you give your gift and receive money in return.

Fair enough.

But is that sustainable for a tribe? And ultimately the planet?

Not if she gives her gift, takes the money and splits. If she never shows up again, the tribe is essentially over.

There is no nurturing. No listening. No compassion. No generosity of spirit.

It is very much in the masculine model. You give, you get.

What my intention is with Tribal Truth is to create a space of Collaboration, Co-creation, Connection, and Celebration.

Collaborate with one another; give your undivided attention to every woman who shows up for you and make sure she wins.

Co-create with the tribe; don’t expect Tanya or the tribe leader to do it. Everyone take ownership that this is our tribe. Everyone is in this together.

Connect with the tribe; really seek to understand one another and develop deeper relationships.

Celebrate the tribe; acknowledge the greatness in every woman by giving her your loudest applause and best standing ovation.

If you are just showing up to give your gift through speaking or promoting your work, you are missing these 4 C’s.

And the 4 C’s are where the magic lies. This is where you can find fulfillment. This is the new paradigm where love and generosity create true prosperity and abundance.

Most of the time, your sisters just need you to show up for them. People just want to be loved, seen and heard.

When you show up and make that authentic connection, nurture that relationship and develop the trust, business just naturally happens.

This past weekend I went to Marie Forleo’s RHH Live with about 250 women entrepreneurs and on Sunday cried my eyes out.

This is nothing new since I’ve been crying a lot over the past two months as my heart has been cracked open and layer upon layer has been shed.

But I cried on Sunday because I got in touch with something deep inside of me after listening to Simon Sinek and Mama Gena: MY WHY.

I’ve known MY WHY. Your WHY is the reason you do what you do and the shift you want to make in the world.

For me, it is to empower women to own their feminine leadership and work together in community to shift the planet to a new paradigm where people awaken to a higher consciousness and live in love instead of fear.

Tribal Truth is a vehicle for women to self-realize through community.

After Simon spoke, Mama Gena came up on stage in a way that pierced my heart and her message sunk in really deep. I realized how much I deprived myself of pleasure. And then when she spoke of celebrating sisterhood, I felt like I was home.

I was so inspired because Mama Gena was speaking my language.

This is what Simon was talking about: to create a movement is about having the right people who resonate with your message (your why) take action. Which was exactly my reaction to Mama Gena; I was inspired by her and ready to take action in my life. I was ready to write down and voice my desires and then actually make them reality!

Which leads me to present you with the opportunity that The Dream Maker Retreat is for our community.

Imagine an entire weekend of connection. Connecting with your own message so it resonates with you and you feel so comfortable and confident to share it with everyone you meet. And imagine getting trained so when you do share, it lands with people and they resonate with it and take action with you.

Imagine connecting with other powerful women so you feel like you can ask for support when you need it. And to get clear on what you do need so you can actually effectively ask for it and get what you want (That desire piece that Mama Gena spoke about)!

I’ve been hosting calls on Thursdays for the tribe and I’ve noticed that most of the women who come on the call have no idea how to make their Great Ask. They have no clarity on what they need.

At Dream Maker, we’re going to get very clear. Crystal clear. And immediately have a community of women supporting you so you get your needs met.

Imagine how much more you can serve others when your own cup is full because you get everything that you need to be your best self.
