Genevieve is a native californian from the san francisco bay area who came down to san diego to attend UCSD in 1997. She was a member of the Women’s basketball team and worked at the sports complex, RIMAC arena. Having basketball running through her blood, she helped coach the girls program at La Jolla Country Day School from 2002-2006, and is planning on coaching again next year. after falling in love with san diego and after her playing career ended she found a need for training, but was looking for something new and exciting. pilates was intriguing to her, so she found a local studio where she started with matwork. it was a life changing experience, one that brought great confidence, purpose and enjoyment into her life. in june 2003, she began her STOTT Pilates certification and in August of that same year, she began teaching 6 classes a week. its been over 6 years now and shes worked all over san diego county at various studios and with master trainers including Marshall Eklund, Cathy Murakami and Lizbeth Garcia.
over the last couple of years, she has found strength from God and has grown by leaps and bounds as a woman. she is tremendously blessed and hopes to inspire women all over the country to find strength and courage in themselves.
