Glimpse TV: Episode 1, Bindu Wiles from Kate Moller on Vimeo.
Bindu Wiles is a writer, life and creativity coach, yoga teacher, and practising Tibetan
Buddhist. She is the creator of the hugely successful site binduwiles.com, an essential
resource for seekers, writers and creatives who are looking to expand their horizons and
awaken to their life’s purpose.
Bindu was trained as a life coach at The Fearless Living Institute under Master Life Coach
Rhonda Britten, and has had ten years’ experience working with clients from all walks of life.
She has since developed her own style of coaching which is grounded in common-sense
Buddhism and a down-to-earth approach. She encourages people to understand and heal
the past, be present with what arises, make friends with what scares them and makes them
uncomfortable, and ultimately aims to help people to accept themselves as they truly are.
Bindu has also spent many, many years actively working on healing her Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD), which she acquired during childhood. Her struggles led her to
Tibetan Buddhism, in which she found a sense of resonance with teachings that help to guide
people back toward their own original sanity and inherent goodness, and which encourage
people toward self-expression and self-acceptance. She undertook Chˆgyam Trungpa
Rinpoche’s Shambhala Warrior Training, and has since found that she is more herself than
she has ever been.
In addition, Bindu holds Master’s degrees in American Literature and Secondary Education,
and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Sculpture. She has been driven by a passion
for writing since she was in the third grade, and will soon graduate with an MFA in non-fiction
writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
Bindu is also a yoga teacher in the Anusara Yoga tradition with over a decade of experience
teaching in a range of settings, from public classes and workshops to retreats and intensives.
She currently works exclusively with private clients in NYC.
She lives in Brooklyn, NY, with an ever-shrinking number of personal possessions, and will
be launching her latest online community program, The Shed Project [Please link: http://
